JOB DESCRIPTION:

A Cannabis Company in Spokane, WA is currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team! Project Managers understand how to work with people and the importance of building collaborative relationships and teams. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating schedules in-line with the operational needs of the store, all while facilitating communication between various teams and management. This role will primarily include internal communication, but may require correspondence with outside parties in order to schedule meetings, deliveries, and ensure that deadlines are met. Ideal candidate is regular consumer of the product.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive effective teamwork and commitment across self-directed, cross functional teams.
  • Coordinate meetings between upper management and third-party vendors, employees, etc.
  • Create staff schedule.
  • Communicate frequently with upper management and specialty teams to determine scheduling needs.
  • Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task.
  • Provide a project schedule to identify when each task with be performed.
  • Track and analyze projects’ performance and report any possible or current blockers and risks.
  • Determine project changes and report/delegate to management as needed.
  • Clearly communicate expectations to management and team members.
  • Ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or relevant field
  • 2+ years of project management experience, or experience in a similar field
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication
  • Understanding of scheduling concepts and maintaining schedules
  • Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be comfortable discussing recreational marijuana
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Management, or relevant field
  • Understanding of basic fundamentals of operational management
  • Understanding of budget concepts and manage budgets accordingly
