POST-PROCESSING SUPERVISOR

POSITION SUMMARY

Mānoa Botanicals LLC dba Noa Botanicals Post-Processing Supervisor is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties including accurately and efficiently supervising Cannabis Support Staff as they trim and harvest. This position is responsible for all post-harvest processing which includes Drying, Curing, and Trimming. The Post-Processing Supervisor must maintain an organized work environment and comply to all required Data Tracking procedures. The Post-Harvest Supervisor reports directly to the Cultivation/Site Manager.

This position is open to local applicants only and is not eligible for relocation assistance.

CORE JOB DUTIES (includes but not limited to)

  • Overseeing harvesting, drying, curing and trimming activities
  • Demonstrate, train and motivate direct reports to achieve 120 gph trimming rates
  • Manages proper bucketing, burping, curing, hydrating, and ideal moisture content at all stages
  • Maintains Data Tracking spreadsheets and SOP logs
  • Monitor & manage proper dry, cure, and trim room environmental conditions
  • Participates in staff recruitment, training, evaluations, reviews, and discipline
  • Responsible for assigned staff timesheet approvals
  • Coordinates product treatment as needed
  • Maintains accurate inventory procedures and processes
  • Leads staff meetings and attends conference calls and meetings as required
  • Provides support and training to achieve team goals and initiatives
  • Additional duties as required

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Sustain extended periods of light to moderately heavy physical activity
  • Previous Employee Management experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge or ability to understand the safe use of various chemical substances used in cleaning purposes and pest control
  • Ability to operate electronic equipment and standard office equipment
  • Detail-oriented with strong desire for problem-solving
  • Work effectively with others and autonomously

EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, BioTrack, Employee Timekeeping and scheduling platforms preferred.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age as required by state statute.
  • Must pass background checks, including fingerprints and drug screening, per applicable requirements set forth under state statute.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work up to 7 days per week including holidays, weekends and evenings during high production initiatives
  • This job function may include walking, sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over, kneeling and/or crouching
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
  • Regular attendance, as scheduled, is required for this position
  • Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs
  • Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
  • Exposure to pollen, allergens, and chemical pesticides in the grow facility or greenhouse
  • General office environment
  • Extended computer usage
  • Extended phone usage including teleconferences
  • Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, chemicals, fumes, dust, odors, extreme heat temperatures, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, noise, protective gear, vibrations, and water
