Plant Health Specialist
Reports to: Director of Cultivation
Location: Bridgewater, Massachusetts
Summary:
Theory Wellness has begun the cultivation of medical cannabis in our state of the art facility in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. We are seeking a Plant Health Specialist to join our team who will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant health within the facility.
Responsibilities will include:
- Diagnose plant health issues, and work with the Cultivation Manager to troubleshoot those issues.
- Make recommendations for irrigation, environmental and plant work strategies that will maximize plant health.
- Develop a system of monitoring and recording plant health, and communicating the information to the cultivation team.
- Investigate the cause of plant health issues in cultivation and make recommendations for procedure or policy changes to solve those issues.
- Work with the Cultivation Manager to develop and implement new protocols related to plant health and cultivation operations.
- Take a proactive approach to monitoring operations and plant inventory to identify and quickly solve plant health issues.

Requirements:
- Background in botany, horticulture, biology, expert level cannabis cultivation, or agricultural science.
- Indoor cannabis cultivation experience preferred.
- Flexible schedule and can work weekends.
- Digital organizational skills and experience.
- Task prioritization skills.
- Able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 70 lbs. and sit, stand, kneel and bend throughout the workday
