Cannabis Infused Product Chef / Baker
Salary range: $40,000 - $70,000
Our client is an existing medical Cannabis Cultivator that processes and dispenses. They are presently searching for a passionate, thoughtful and responsible individual to lead the day-to-day production of Marijuana Infused Products (edibles)
The Chef / Baker will be responsible for a variety of cooking and / or baking of Cannibus / Marijuana infused goods while being in strict compliance of policies and procedures put in place by the Director / CEO.
What you will be doing:
Communicating daily production needs to the Director
Inventory of all items on production lists
Creating daily production lists from set par levels and daily inventories
Strict adherence to policies and procedures put in place by the Director
Cleanliness in every step of the process
Organization must be second nature and always a priority
Attention to detail: quality and consistency in production
Communicate effectively with co-workers and management team
Participate in ongoing and professional development as required
Other duties as assigned by the Director
A successful candidate will possess the following:
21 years of age
Culinary degree is preferred but not mandatory for consideration. Commensurate experience within the F&B industry will be considered.
Experience in the cannabis industry preferred but not mandatory
3-5 years of experience in a baker/confectionery production-oriented role
Must be qualified to handle the rigorous physical demands of a commercial kitchen
Frequently moves and lifts equipment and supplies in excess of 50 pounds or more

Candidate MUST live within a reasonable distance to commute
