Job Title: Distribution Driver

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Department: Production

Location: MIP

Reports To: Post-Cultivation Manager

Compensation Range: $13.00 - $15.00/hour

Starting Date: June/July 2018

Summary

The Distribution Driver is responsible for delivering all AiroProproduct from Production to multiple retail locations throughout the state. This involves physically delivering the product, collecting payment if necessary, and ensuring all paperwork, including travel manifests and invoices are stored properly at each location. This position may also require moving the Twister machine between warehouse locations or distributing supplies or product to the various offices, production & retail locations operated by Skinny Pineapple. This position primarily works with the Order Fulfillment department for all AiroPro-related deliveries, but ultimately answers to and may be given direction from the Post Cultivation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates daily with the MIP Order Fulfillment team to deliver drops from the RMPM to retail stores statewide
  • Regularly interfaces with employees from different dispensaries
  • Confirms that they have all necessary paperwork, route details, instructions and product information for deliveries
  • 'Checks in’ at dispensaries on routing software
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws regarding facilities, production, badges, labeling & packaging, transportation, etc.
  • Ensures all manifests are filed properly at each location
  • Assists the Leadership Team deliveries or pick-ups upon request
  • Helps with preparing product for transfer when needed
  • Picks up and delivers product, as needed, to and from other Skinny Pineapple facilities
  • Coordinates, as needed, with Harvest Supervisors to move Twister machine from warehouse to warehouse
  • Coordinates, as needed, with Post Cultivation Manager for supply orders: unpacks supply orders, shops for supplies when necessary, and delivers supplies to locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of one year in the cannabis industry
  • All applicants must be at least 21 years old to be considered for employment
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation to be able to commute from various locations
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license
  • Must have car insurance
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must have (or be able to acquire) a MED Key Badge
  • 2-years professional driving experience preferred
  • Experience with cash handling and inventory control preferred

Total Compensation

All employees working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits on the 1stof the month following 30 days of employment. The Farm contributes towards the medical premium for employees who participate in the medical plan and premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis. The Farm also offers paid time-off for all full-time employees. All employees are eligible for 50% reimbursement on a monthly RTD bus pass after 90 days of employment. Employee discount of 40% on all products. The Farm is a learning organization that provides all employees with internal and external educational courses focused on professional development.
