We are an established boutique dispensary that is in the midst of expanding. We have two locations in Inner East Portland and North Portland, plus home delivery service.
Our focus is genuine patient care and education. We hire and train individuals who enjoy using cannabis and who are eager to learn about our vendors' growing practices, processing methods, genetics, methods of consumption, intended user effects, and accurately convey that information to our client base.
We are hiring for part-time hours, approximately 10-20 hours per week. We only seek candidates who have spent the last six months or more building their career paths in Oregon dispensaries.
We actively encourage upward mobility, continuing education and training, promotions, raises and involvement in management. At $13/hour, employees begin training in our Budtender or Delivery Driver positions. After a 90-day review, pay increases to $14/hour and employees become eligible to interview for internal promotions in keyholder and trainer positions. After a subsequent 6-month review, employees become eligible to interview for upper management positions. Our preference is to reward reliable hard work and to promote from within.
Our Budtender position is integral to our daily operations and serves as a direct link between our inventory and our patient and customer base. The Budtender executes assigned cannabis packaging projects. While budtending, the Budtender works one-on-one with medical patients and adult customers to recommend products that best match our clients' needs and serves as a cashier. This position has the following requirements:
- a valid OLCC worker permit, or proof of test completion and submission to OLCC
- ability to lift up high and down low, lift and carry 50 lbs. or more, walk up and down stairs, and sit or stand for the duration of the shift
- ability to handle and package cannabis
- strong communication and customer service skills
- retail experience, POS experience, cash handling
- demonstrate knowledge of vendors, inventory and methods of cannabis cultivation, processing and consumption to best serve our patients and customers
- familiarity with BioTrackTHC, Google Drive, Excel and Leafly.com menu updates preferred
- flexible schedule; immediate and open availability
Our Delivery Driver serves as a Budtender in between accepting, processing and delivering orders through our online delivery app. This position has the following requirements:
- a valid OLCC worker permit, or proof of test completion and submission to OLCC
- ability to lift up high and down low, lift and carry 50 lbs. or more, walk up and down stairs, and sit or stand for the duration of the shift
- ability to handle and package cannabis
- a motor vehicle insured at or above the legal requirements in Oregon capable of locking all doors and equipped with an alarm system
- a smartphone
- a valid Oregon driver license
- must be able to provide a current DMV report
- familiarity with BioTrackTHC, METRC, Google Drive, and Excel preferred
- flexible schedule; immediate and open availability.
