RETAIL PRODUCT COORDINATOR

Our Product Coordinator places and tracks orders from many vendors in a high-volume environment and is responsible for making sure that our high standards of product integrity, selection and service are met. The full-time position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task, clearly communicate with many supply chain partners, support multiple in-house managers and stay abreast of trends in the fast-changing cannabis industry.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of hands-on experience in ordering, inventory, manufacturing, supply chain or fulfillment in retail, hospitality or e-commerce
  • Cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
  • Must be 21 or over (California state cannabis regulation)
  • High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with modern POS, inventory and retail systems
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with the Google suite of products. A proficiency test will be given as part of the interview process.
  • Ability to lift moderately-heavy boxes items during receiving and inventory activities

Job Description:

  • Act as a liaison between our buyers and store managers to track products through the receiving, processing and merchandising process.
  • Oversee the efficient stocking, reconciling, and accounting of all products.
  • Participate in the development of analysis and reports that confirm prices, product integrity, and compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Place orders approved by the Product Manager.
  • Conduct occasional spot inventory of products to confirm demand.
  • Track orders through the supply chain to make sure that they arrive on time and as ordered.
  • Advise GM and Product Manager of delays in shipment or changes in product availability.
  • Work with Inventory Manager and Logistic Manager to ensure that the product is in stock and on shelves
  • Make sure that the production pipeline is flowing for scheduled products to be on the shelf, properly labeled and prices.
  • Advise Inventory Manager and Logistics Manager of any issues as soon as detected with a suggestion of how to correct.
  • Keep retail floor storage areas adequately stocked to meet demands of each shift.
  • Prepare a detailed report on Friday of each week with detailed instructions for weekend managers of which products to stock, as required.
  • Support Inventory Manager in security and control of the product.
  • Make sure that all returnable/rejected product is tracked as directed by the Logistics manager and returned to vendors for credit.
  • Enter credits into the Inventory System
