Business Intelligence Developer

The company is focused on developing a robust and modern data management platform to process hundreds of millions of transactional records and present actionable insights to business leaders.

Business Intelligence Developer

Objective: The company is seeking a senior technical staff member to augment development of a B2B data analytics and visualization platform, as well as internal systems and tools. The ideal candidate combines a deep knowledge of modern data management and analytic tools and techniques (e.g., R, Python, both SQL and NoSQL data stores, and ETL) with the ability to rapidly prototype, experiment and manage the development process.

Responsibilities:

• Define, design, develop and implement Business Intelligence solutions
• Research and develop new ideas and technologies that advance ETL, data warehousing, and reporting capabilities.
• Develop solutions that that drive efficiencies and scale with the expansion of the cannabis market
• Coordinate and/or manage development activities to execute on schedule and budget
• Update and maintain source code and relevant documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 5+ years of work experience
• Exceptional experience in SQL
• Extensive knowledge of ETL design and development
• Experience with database dimensional modelling and development
• Expertise with Microsoft Server Suite: SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
• Source code management (GIT)
