We are seeking outgoing, customer service driven, and knowledgeable cannabis enthusiasts for retail budtender positions with a variety of clients throughout the Coachella Valley. Budtenders will assist the management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines. Budtenders are responsible for assisting customers, educating and selling, point of sale transactions, cash handling and customer service. This position is for someone who loves to work with people and has sufficient knowledge about marijuana, cannabis laws, strains, and the plant itself.
Responsibilities
- Meet, greet and establish rapport with clients and customers
- Assist customers and clients with what medical and/or recreational strain best fits their individual needs
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
- Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system in person and for placing phone orders
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Accurate and timely data entry of patient and customer profiles
- Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID
- Adhere to strict distribution processes
- Gather and process required patient documents and information, and perform detailed verification while maintaining client confidentiality

- Proven experience in customer service
- Consultative selling skills and experience
- Professional demeanor and high ethical standards
- Attention to detail, accurate math skills
- Must be 21 years old
- Must comply with an extensive background check
- Must be able to accommodate flexible work locations and schedule including weekend, evening, and holidays
