Job Description for the Patient Service Clerk of River City Phoenix Sacramento

Title: Patient Service Clerk (Budtender)

Reports to: Floor Supervisors and General Manager-GM

Job Summary

Our company require's the Budtender/Service Clerk to assume the role in assisting and educating consumer's in finding the best options for their medicating needs and ensure the consumers are receiving the best care possible. The Budtender/Service Clerk will be responsible for demonstrating efficient work methods, educating consumers on products and dosing, patient intake and verification, operating a POS system, and cashing out consumers while maintaining a compassionate and safe environment for consumers to access their medicine. The role is a complex one. He/she will go through an extensive training process and continual training to ensure they are qualified to make accurate recommendations to each consumer they help.

  • Monitor inventory levels, asses product needs and communicate them to the proper people
  • POS operation systems including new orders, adjusting open orders , adding items, discounts, applying loyalty points, voiding items, cashing out orders and reprinting receipts
  • Pass on information to management from consumers and vice versa
  • Stay current on laws and city ordinances
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with management and employees
  • Work with others to create a positive environment to best serve our consumers
