Budtender The customer experience begins and ends with the Budtender. A Budtender is responsible for the initial greeting, assessing the needs of the customer, and educating/guiding them on the benefits and differences of our products. Budtenders deliver the company’s retail promise to every person and patient while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. A successful Budtender will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals, provide excellent product suggestions, and exceed our customer’s and patent’s expectations.
The Budtender will ultimately inspire customer and patient confidence and create loyalty to our brand. Work Experience - One or more years of continuous work experience (in a related industry or environment preferred). - Six months to one year of experience in retail required. - Solid and seamless work history with longevity of employment history with no gaps of unemployment longer than 3 months than cannot be reasonably explained.
- Exceptional customer service skills and experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. - Demonstrates strong oral and written communication with customers, coworkers, and management. - Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and how it relates to customer purchasing limits. - Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software, and superb cash handling skills.
- Ability to deal with problems and resolve them in an efficient and professional manner. - Ability to creatively cultivate long-term customer relationships. - Strong attention to detail and a team player mentality. - Positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
Working Requirements - Regular and on-time attendance. - Able to use a computer while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. - Must commit to scheduling expectations to include weekend, evening, and holiday shifts with location changes. - Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
- Reliable transportation. Education - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - College degree preferred. - Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
