Northeast Alternatives is looking to add a qualified and exceptional sales person to our existing team. We are looking for motivated, independent sales professionals whom care about helping people and believe in the medicinal value of cannabis.
Hourly pay: Dependent on experience and qualifications

Candidates will be expected to perform the following duties:
Presence - Must be positive and welcoming.
Sales Expertise - Assist customers with selecting the products most appropriate for their needs. Provide a comprehensive overview of our selection of our products to new customers. Stay current on product knowledge and share that knowledge with customers and co-workers.
Product Knowledge - Must be familiar with various methods of consumption. Meet and exceed customer expectations for service. Effectively address customers concerns and complaints. Be professional in appearance, actions and verbal communications.
Organization and Cleanliness - Ensure cleanliness of the retail counters. Keep your station stocked and organized. Example: paper bags, sticker, writing utensils, counterfeit pens etc. Keep the retail floor clean and organized. Example: Display cases are cleaned, replenished and faced.
Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
Cooperation - Establishes and maintains effective relations; exhibits tact and consideration; offers assistance and support to co-workers; works cooperatively in group situations; works actively to resolve conflicts.
Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others’ views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; supports everyone’s efforts to succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 1O's and 1OO's. Ability to perform these operations using units of US Currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
