Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time, hard-working, and team oriented individual to join our team! We want an outgoing and passionate Budtender who is looking for long-term employment. Our Budtenders most important job is giving our patients exceptional service as well as assisting the management team with the activities and operations of the store, while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Budtenders are responsible for patient care, checking them out with our p.o.s. system, cash handling and customer service. You must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences so that you can direct the patient to the best dosage and method for them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting store environment.
  • Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained.
  • Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for retail product knowledge.
  • Answering the phone and greeting walk-in customers.
  • Accurately use and maintain the Point Of Sale (POS) system.
  • Correct cash handling and discount application; accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles.
  • Verifying proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for customers.
  • Store organization and cleanliness.
  • Computer work, including but not limited to: printing labels, making signs, updating websites, posting to social media sites, and inputting data into excel spreadsheets.
  • Daily cleaning, including but not limited to: washing jars, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Management Team.

SKILLS and/or ABILITIES:

  • Exceptional Customer Service skills
  • Desire to learn about our products
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and a team-player mentality
  • Aptitude for communicating with people of all levels, abilities, and backgrounds
  • Fun attitude and strong work ethic
  • Talent for efficient and creative problem solving
  • Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, holiday shifts, and store location movement
  • Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year customer service experience
  • 1 year Cash handling experience
  • Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent minimum
  • Previous food service or retail experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reliable Transportation
  • Passion for medical cannabis and patient car
