Job Description:

The Brand Sales Manager is extremely knowledgeable about our flower and concentrate products, the cannabis industry, and the Nevada market. He or she presents our brand and products to wholesale customers in an attractive and highly informative fashion that promotes a prompt sale. In addition, the Brand Sales Manager maintains an ongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeat business.

The Brand Sales Manager ensures the wholesale department meets sales quotas through expert management and leadership of the sales team. He or she must forecast sales, maintain proper inventory levels, and motivate the team to achieve or exceed all sales goals. The Sales Manager monitors team member performance, resolves customer complaints, and helps with closings when necessary.

The Brand Sales Manager will also be responsible for representing the brand positively in a variety of settings, participating in event marketing (pop-ups, trade shows, etc.), and generating brand awareness throughout the cannabis community. This position will also be responsible for oversight and documentation of the sales process, ensuring compliance with the regulatory authorities, and coordination and execution of deliveries in an efficient and organized manner all while providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least three years of experience in a similar sales volume setting with supervisory or management experience, and an unrestricted driver’s license in this state. He or she must be willing to accept full accountability for sales targets and must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Strong communication and networking skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides timely and accurate reports on all sales activities as needed
  • Analyzes market, identifies viable target clients, reaches decision makers, and drives closure
  • Develops viable sales forecasts and associated sales strategies
  • Maintains accurate sales documentation
  • Establishes sales quotas and manages overall sales goals
  • Plans and manages workload and appointment schedules
  • Ensures all sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all products, accessories, and enhancements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Three to five years of progressive and relevant experience
  • Knowledgeable about cannabis, concentrates, and infused products
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing personality and willing to work with the public on a daily basis
  • Highly professional and dependable
  • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the internet
