INDO EXPO is the Premier Cannabis Business-to-Business Trade Show. With annual shows in Denver, Portland, and California, over 350 exhibitors, and 5000+ attendees, INDO EXPO is the hottest Show in the industry! We are growing, and we are looking for Brand Ambassadors (BA) to grow with us!

BAs will promote the show in the field to raise awareness through all relevant channels, including social media. INDO EXPO’s target audiences are growers, producers, processors, retail shops (dispensaries, hydro shops, garden centers, glass shops, etc.), and ancillary businesses. You will interface with the cannabis industry to assist in recruiting pre-qualified buyers/attendees with real decision-making power.

As a BA, you’ll be reaching out to a group of businesses in your designated territory. Each week you’ll contact your list of businesses, attempt to register them online, visit them in-person and leave promotional materials at various shops and stores. You will also be responsible for handing out All Access passes to our top clients four weeks prior to the show. Throughout your campaign, you will be supported at all times by management especially if anything comes up that you don’t know how to handle.

This part-time job will require between 20-30 hours per week.

The BA program creates a stronger connection between an attendee and the Show, and that’s exactly what we want!

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with industry professionals, businesses and farms.
  • Assist registration and attendee acquisition.
  • Attend all cannabis business events in their territory, network, and be the face for Indo Expo in the community.
  • Deliver promotional materials (i.e. “All Access Card, Posters, Postcards, etc.) to businesses/farms and educate about proper use, registration, and deadlines.
  • Develop new marketing content by optimizing social media opportunities while in the field.
  • Understand and be able to explain what makes Indo Expo unique: All Industry Pros get complimentary access if registration form is completed by deadline.
  • Call businesses/farms in your territory to register people over the phone.
  • Be available to work the weekend of the Show as support staff. (PDX based personnel only)
  • Generate and process new leads while recruiting in your territory.
  • Keep organized and up to date records on outreach and promotion efforts.
  • Be efficient with time management and itinerary planning.
  • Be able to get past gatekeepers at new stores/leads.
  • Promote the INDO EXPO brand and wear INDO staff shirt at all times when representing Indo Expo
  • Be upbeat and have a confident demeanor. Smiles get you miles.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Reliable transportation & insurance
  • Smartphone w/ Navigation
  • Knowledge of this Industry, you understand the hydro store, the farm, the dispensary and know who INDO wants to invite to the Show.
  • 1+ residency in assigned territories

  • Following up diligently
  • Great over-the-phone etiquette and people skills
