We are searching for a Bookkeeper/Office Specialist who can work independently in a fast-paced environment and has a strong attention to detail. We’re not just looking for an “employee” – we’re looking for a team member who can be part of our growing business and participate in taking it to the next level!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping activities and partnering with our CPA firm.
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including some collections follow-through.
  • Cash management, bank deposits, account reconciliation.
  • Manage State Board of Equalization payments, and other tax-related payments.
  • Prepare financial reports, collection, and aging reports.
  • Identify, reconcile, and correct payroll/accounting errors.
  • Prepare a variety of correspondence, periodic and special reports, and other written materials; may access various databases or use information from various sources to prepare such materials.
  • Light HR functions, such as payroll administration, employee verifications, and Workers’ Compensation coordination.
  • Maintain office records: enter, edit, and retrieve data; process forms; maintain databases, confidential files.
  • General support tasks, including managing company calls and emails, greeting guests, basic facilities coordination.
  • Fill in for other administrative positions as necessary and assist with special projects.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Characteristics:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Professional knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & Online and Microsoft Office Suite, including at least an intermediate level of skill in Excel. Knowledge of SharePoint and Odoo is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of payroll preparation and management.
  • Experience in office management desired.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility is a plus.
  • Able to communicate clearly to management, employees, contractors, vendors, and customers by phone, email, and in person.
  • Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and multitask.

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR EMPLOYMENT AND EITHER HAVE OR BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A MARIJUANA WORKER PERMIT
