Collaborating on innovative research. Providing revolutionary education. Empowering families to lead better lives and inform healthcare professionals about options for their patients.

Who We Need

In our journey as an organization, we are now entering a new chapter of building out systems and teams to handle the increased growth and interest in this cause. One of the key hires for this next phase is a dedicated bilingual(English/Spanish - written; verbal)Care Specialist, who willdeliver critical education and support through the highest-impact engagements with our clientele, and maintain systems, processes, and compassionate customer service to support this work.

This role is meant for a leader who has been highly successful in maintaining authentic one-on-one relationships, and who has expertise incustomer service activities and implementing efficient and sustainable system strategies. Key aspects of the ideal candidate include:

  • A personal story that connects with our mission – whether from their own experience, or someone close to them, this person has seen the life-changing benefits of cannabis-related therapies, or knows the impact of chronic diseases on people and their loved ones. This person channels their experience with a strong sense of optimism that big change is possible, and feelsa personal calling to have an even greater impact in this phase of their career.
  • A leader in customer service through one-on-one engagements. This is someone who all their friends lean on because they are a great listener,engaging with authenticity, dependable and helpful offering support (and modeling and coaching that for others). In particular, the right candidate has a track record of serving others, by employing the highest-impact approaches.
  • A strategic thinker and quick decision-maker – rather than being pulled into the weeds, he or she excels at assessing needs and gaps (especially related to systems and processes), identifying the most effective solutions and priorities, and facilitating the critical steps to move the team forward. This person always comes to the table with a thoughtful recommendation and the reasoning behind it and isn’t attached to the outcome.
  • Highest degree of integrity – not only because this role engages directly with our public, but also because we are connected to an emerging and often misunderstood industry, and as an organization, we have a responsibility to do what is right, so that more families may benefit. What You’ll Be Doing...

The Care Specialist will be focused primarily on serving our clientele including consumers, medical professionals, and the community who need education and resources for using or helping their patients with cannabis and hemp.

The specific responsibilities of this role fall into two primary areas:

Compassion (customer) ServiceYou are a multi-tasker who does not stress easily. You are a Mr/Mrs “steady”. You understand that when the team wins, you win! You are able to problem solve easily thinking of multiple solutions by clarifying issues, researching, and exploring answers and alternative solutions to problems that arise while thinking quickly on your feet. You communicate with ease and love to talk on the phone while compassionately listening to the other person. You enjoying chatting with people in person and find this comfortable and easy. You love to empower people to be their own hero.Clerical Skills

You love “office” work such as talking on the phone, typing and entering data. You enjoy figuring out how things work and your friends may refer to you as a science nerd or geek. We adore that about you if that is the case. You are very familiar with Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc) and maybe other programs too! You are tech savvy and a quick learner of new applications and programs.

Location & Travel: This position is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado; The role will require some travel for expos and trade shows.

Compensation & Benefits: The salary range for this position is competitive, with the opportunity for a performance bonus.
