General Description:
Assists the Beverage Manager in the supervision and coordination of the overall activities of the Bar operation as assigned. Ensures Beverage staff provides superior service to guests, following operating procedures, including safety policy and procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assists in hiring team members, training, scheduling, and assigning duties.
· Supervises the requisition of all liquor (beer, wine, and other beverages) from the warehouse to all bars, as directed.
· Assists with performance evaluations.
· Assists with corrective actions, documenting and issuing.
· Assists with attendance tracking.
· Maintains security of goods.
· Assists in maintaining all departmental team member files.
· Maintains neat and sanitary bar and bar areas.
· Helps in the training of all beverage team members.
· Keeps team members updated on policies, procedures, and special events.
· Ensures compliance with State Alcoholic Beverage regulations.
· Create, facilitate and maintain a positive work environment.
· Smiles during interactions with guests and team members.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
· Ability to multitask, working quickly and accurately in stressful situations, using good judgment.
· Knowledge of and ability to make basic cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Must be able to delegate duties.
· Ability to positively motivate others and work as a team player.
· Basic computers skills.
· Understanding of cost of sales percentages, pricing, sales analysis.
Required
· Must be 21 years or older.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· At least one (1) year of hospitality or business courses and liquor board awareness classes.
· One (1) year supervisory/management experience.
· Some beverage serving experience and bartending experience.

Must be able to meet the physical requirements of this position, including, but not limited to:
· Standing and walking for a minimum of eight hours (8) a day.
· Lifting up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) at or above shoulder height on a regular basis.
· Using a variety of body movements such as twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
