Services include inpatient crisis stabilization and outpatient mental health care, medication management, inpatient detox, outpatient and residential substance use/addiction treatment, targeted case management, integrated primary & behavioral health care, in-home and in-school counseling, prevention and outreach, and a model clubhouse/day program for adults.
Contracted through Kids Central, Inc., The Centers also provides protective supervision and case management services to children and their families regarding issues of abuse, neglect, abandonment, or exploitation. The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for assisting in the assurance of quality client care. Responsible for the close monitoring of Residential clients and providing day-to-day supervision of those clients as well as maintaining their wellbeing and security. This position is responsible for assisting the professional staff in the assurance of quality client care. In addition to the provision of routine client care, the Technician's duties focus on reducing or minimizing the effects of substance abuse. This position’s secondary responsibility of for the safe transportation of clients in a company vehicle to and from different locations. This position is also part of the multidisciplinary team providing treatment in accordance with the Substance Abuse Manual guidelines. Topics include: nature of the disease, nature of the addiction, family illness, dynamics, medical aspects of the addiction, values, morals, social skills, stress management, peer pressure, relationships, 12-Step recovery process, cannabis, cocaine and alcohol knowledge.
SCHEDULE:
Must be available for one or more of the following shifts: 8a-4p, 4p-12a, or 12a-8a
Must be available for at least two shifts per week.
