Job Title: Bakery Development Coach
Position Summary: Working as part of a Self Managed Team, the Bakery Development Coach will be responsible for all Medical and Adult-Use Cannabis infused products. They will have the ability to understand individuals’ learning needs and enhance both their knowledge and performance. In addition, they will work with individuals on a one to one basis providing both verbal and written feedback, while enhancing quality and production.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure that high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained throughout the kitchen at all times
- Ensure that all cannabis maintains consistent documentation within compliant standards
- Produce a high volume of work in a timely manner that is accurate, complete, compliant and high quality
- Complete training for new hires
- Work with Operations Manager and staff to identify who would benefit from additional coaching and training
- Implement learning strategies and supporting staff in soft skill areas
- Draw up agreed action plans with learners, outlining the aims of the coaching, and monitoring of progress
- Working with other Development Coaches and Teams to identity and implement development best practices
- Training delivery in a classroom environment and on a one to one basis
- Preparing training handouts
- Enhancing quality and production performance individually and at team level to meet and exceed quality and production targets
- Preparing both verbal and written feedback reports for Operations Manager
- Developing in the moment coaching for all associates
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with fellow team members and others throughout the organization
- Ensure up to date product and process knowledge is maintained
- Participate in all trainings provided in relation to: company products, operating systems, processes and procedures, and retain knowledge
- Fully utilize all training and support materials
- Display a flexible and co-operative approach at all times
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, and METRC
- Ability to analyze data
- Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of the company
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time

Minimum Education and Experience:
- Associates degree in Applied Science for Baking and Pastry Arts or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years’ experience working in a high-volume bakery
- Proficient in college algebra
- Working knowledge of METRC, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, QuickBooks
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds
- May include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
