Job Description:

OLO (getolo.com) is redefining the cannabis experience, blending modern neuroscience with innovative biochemistry. The result is precise, rapid, experiential and discreet cannabis-infused sublingual strip that comes in four distinct experiences.

We are looking for enthusiastic, organized salespeople, who are familiar with the cannabis industry, to get our product on the shelves of licensed cannabis retailers. We offer a competitive, performance-based compensation package with medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Primary goals

  • Grow the number of retailer carrying OLO in your territory
  • Grow the overall sales volume in your territory

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships- Develop strong with retail buyers, management and sales staff on behalf of OLO
  • Optimize merchandising- Work with retailers to secure high visibility placement for products and displays
  • Activate in-store events- Coordinate and execute in-store consumer education events
  • Execute promotions- coordinate with retail staff to develop and execute promotions and sales contests
  • Gather market intelligence- Gather insight on OLO's opportunities and build a holistic understanding of retailers in your territory
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge- Maintain expert-level knowledge of our brand, products, and competitors
  • Elevate OLO’s community profile- Elevate OLO’s community profile by participating in relevant events
  • Share the OLO story- Deliver with authenticity charismatic and persuasive communication of our brand message to retailers, consumers, and influencers

General

  • Always be on-time for training and event activation
  • Refrain from consumption of all intoxicating substances before and during work hours
  • Exhibit an appearance and demeanor that is professional and responsible at all times
  • Maintain regular access to a reliable vehicle and regularly travel by car to retailers
  • Respond to all external and internal communications in a timely fashion
  • Use company tablets, phones, software
  • Arrange and make sales calls
  • Coordinate support from brand ambassadors; act as a brand ambassador as necessary
  • Work with OLO’s distributor and participate in joint sales calls with their representatives
  • Travel as necessary to trade shows and industry events, on evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Provide weekly recap reports to management

Requirements

  • Knowledge of cannabis and/or the cannabis industry or ability to learn a new industry
  • Prior sales experience is required.
  • Must have excellent communicative and organizational skills
  • Minimum education: High-school + Associate’s, Bachelor’s preferred
  • Personable, articulate, self-motivated, organized
  • Pass background check
