Associate attorney needed for fast growing Downtown Detroit boutique business and regulatory practice looking to add a third attorney. While our practice area and the associate attorney position is mainly focused on business and cannabis business law, we are also looking for someone to help with other general legal matters, including criminal law, probate law, and general litigation matters.
Applicants must be barred in Michigan or have passed the Michigan character and fitness portion of the bar and currently awaiting exam results. Some legal work experience is required--e.g. law school clerkship, summer associate position, etc.
Candidates should be organized, capable of juggling multiple legal matters at once, and capable of interacting directly with firm clients.
Candidates must provide resume and legal writing sample of no less than 400 words. Candidates that have just graduated law school must also submit their law school transcript.
