Experienced quality assurance professional needed in blossoming herbal medicine company. Need an Assistant QA Manager who will oversee production activities, collect and review batch records, write and review SOPs, conduct CAPA investigations, and other QA duties.
- Minimum of (3) years' experience in a pharmaceutical, cannabis, or dietary supplement Quality Assurance or Quality Control role.
- Strong understanding of cGMP standards for pharmaceutical and/or dietary supplement manufacturing.
- Experience designing and implementing QA documentation, flow, and production systems.
- Strong interpersonal, mathematical, and organization skills.
- Skill in operating phones, computers, software and other IT systems.
- Management experience preferred.
- Bachelors Degree
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To oversee the proper handling, receiving, documentation, production, and storage of all product components. Includes quarantine, analysis, and release of all product-related components.
- Reviews, tracks, maintains, and archives all product-related controlled documents.
- Oversees the implementation and management of GMP systems (Writes, reviews and approve GMP Procedures)
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves problems at any points of a product lifecycle.
- Oversees production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
- Implements any necessary changes (procedural, mechanical, personnel, or otherwise) following an investigation.
- Trains production (or other) employees on new or updated procedures.
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data.
- Communicate with external regulatory officers during on-site inspections.
- Adheres to cGMP, GLP, HIPAA, and FIPA compliance standards
- Performs administrative tasks as assigned by the Management
