Job Description:

Exciting retail management opportunity just outside of Annapolis, MD! Mana Supply is a medical cannabis dispensary that is set to open in July 2018. We are looking for an assistant dispensary manager to hire immediately!

In this position, you will work closely with the principals and GM to create a positive and fun working environment for our patients and our staff. You must share our values and instill them in our team. These values include:

Compliance and Transparency - As this is a heavily regulated environment, you will work to create a transparent and compliant operation. To do so, it is expected that you will learn and maintain an exhaustive knowledge of Maryland's rules and regulations established by COMAR and the MMCC. You will work closely with our compliance team to manage and maintain our Power DMS Compiance Database.

Patient Care and Customer Service - With "white glove" customer service and deep industry knowledge, we will work closely with our patients to improve their quality of life. It will be important that you work to both create and maintain educational wellness programs for both our patients and our employees.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MEDICAL CANNABIS DISPENSARY IS PREFERRED

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage, supervise and direct the activities of a staff of 10+ employees
  • Make recommendations as to hiring, discipline, termination, and advancement of employees
  • Assist GM with day to day operations of a high-volume retail environment and act as GM when neccessary
  • Enforce policies and best practices for the team
  • Ensure compliance to all laws and regulations
  • Handle daily store closing and opening
  • Monitor budgets, accounts receivable, and profits & loss statements
  • Manage product inventory
  • Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every patients (Patients come first!)
  • Help with innovation and business strategy
  • Must have the ability to work a full-time flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Prior cannabis industry experience HIGHLY PREFERRED
  • Prior management experience (preferably in retail, health care, or hospitality)
  • Bachelors degree prefered
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and initiative
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must have ability to lift to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the USA
