We are seeking experienced individuals who bring either a traditional horticultural background and/or experience in growing top quality cannabis. As a Gardener, you will be a member of a team who are responsible for the day-to-day care of the nurturing of plants from seed to harvest in the highly regulated California cannabis industry. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management.
• Follow instructions for plant scheduling and organization to precisely perform all garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep garden green and expenses low.
• Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
• All other functions as designated by the Cultivation Manager or Senior Manager (where applicable).

Competency Requirements:

• Experience with indoor commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, air flow, etc.
• Knowledge of the cannabis plant and genetics.
• You are at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass required city and state background checks.
• Ability to work effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Verbal communication skills, and accurate math skills.
• Ability to work with traceability software and reporting.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

Requirements to be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis for at least 8-hour shifts.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly and carry it up to 90 feet (or deposit into dumpster or trash compactor).
• Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
