Assistant Grower Job Summary:
Responsible for assisting the Marijuana Grower with the entire indoor, outdoor and greenhouse growing operations including irrigation, fertilizer and chemical mixing and application, insect and disease management, and crop timing.
Assistant Grower Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing all growing personnel working at your facility, including plant movement and placement
- Assist in managing all plant needs of crops in your facility including irrigation, fertilizer, chemical, insect and disease management, and crop timing and communicate issues with Growing Manager
- Assist in managing and making final decisions on all plant needs of crops at your facility
Assistant Grower Supporting Actions:
- Assist in determining chemical needs, creating spray sheets, helping with applications, reporting and inventory
- Report labor needs to Grower Manager and Facility Manager and advise crews to complete tasks effectively
- Physical demanding job, ability to lift 50 pounds
Assistant Grower Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions such as extreme cold or extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Assistant Grower Skills and Qualifications:
- 2 years experience working in a commercial indoor, outdoor and greenhouse environments required
- Knowledge of indoor, outdoor and greenhouse and related equipment
- Strong desire to grow plants and work in an indoor, outdoor and greenhouse environments
- Ability to manage and train Grower Leads, Grower Assistants with effective communications skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify moisture requirements, status of the plants and possible problems/issues
- Must currently have MED support or key badge

Salary: $12.00 to $16.00 /hour
