Assistant Distiller

We are looking for reliable candidates who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment while applying proficient organizational skills. The position requires full understanding of laboratory operations, quality assurance and quality control.

Compensation:

$18/ hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Distiller, you assist the Head Distiller with daily operations such as winterizing, filtering, solvent recovery and fractional distillation. You will also have the responsibilities of cleaning and maintaining machinery and maintaining production equipment on the floor area.

This position will include trouble shooting and resolving mechanical errors. Assistant Distillers are also expected to organize data and compile detailed reports as requested by Head Distillers and Management.

Qualifications:

• Customer service, team work and flexibility are held at a high standard at Elevate Laboratories.
  
• Great time management skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet skills.
  
• Formal distilling education or professional experience mandatory with two (2) or more years manufacturing experience in a distilling environment.
  
• Experience in winterization, suction filtration, fractional distillation and/or chemical analysis.
