The Architectural Designer works on the engineering team designing and modeling future facilities and projects. Through both 2D and 3D CAD drawings, the Architectural Designer will create floor plans and models of future facilities. The Architectural Designer will work closely with the Systems Designers on floor plans and designs of upcoming facilities.
Duties and responsibilities -
3D CAD –
- Create 3D concept models of future facilities to present to clients
- Conceptual designs and decorations for grows and dispensaries
2D CAD –
- Create floor plans for grows and dispensaries
Project Management –
- Work closely with clients to provide design options of facilities
- Work closely with vendors for procurement
Qualifications -
Required Qualifications:
- 4 year professional design or architectural degree
- 1 year of interior design experience
- Strong AutoCAD and SketchUp skills or similar experience
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, accurate, and able to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with greenhouse irrigation systems
- Collaborative nature and ability to work well with others
- Ability to complete projects on time and work on multiple projects at once
- Attention to detail
- Proficient with Google Apps, Dropbox, and Smartsheet
Compensation -
- $35,000-$50,000 DOE
