Position Overview
Sunday Goods (www.sundaygoods.com), a manufacturing and cultivation leader in the cannabis industry, seeks a full-time Application Coordinator. This position reports to the Director of Licensing and Regulation, and is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to complete several concurrent, highly technical licensure applications in a fast-paced environment that crosses multiple business divisions. The Application Coordinator will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects. Attention to detail and ability to successfully interface with remote teams and external consultants are absolutely critical.
Hours: 40 hours per week. Schedule must be flexible, dependent on ET.

- Resourcefulness in finding information and answers; highly motivated
- Flexibility with managing communication and project timelines in ET/PT zones
- Ability to comprehend legislative/regulatory language; legal experience preferred
- Strong project management, organizational, critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize/execute and achieve desired project goals with prudence, a sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Must have articulate communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of using appropriate productivity tools such as Asana, Slack, Microsoft Office Suite, and G Suite

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with proposal team to ensure timely adherence to project goals, quality and compliance of materials
- Communicate project updates and track required documents
- Ability to manage competing demands and maintain confidential information
- Document team meetings and calls, create subsequent reports
- Assist with printing and submission of proposals
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with a variety of personnel and organizations
Essential Job Requirements:
- Project Planning and Management– Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
- Team Management– Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and develop team members’ project management skills
- Administrative– Track project deliverables and required documents using internal cloud-based filing system, review regulatory paperwork for accuracy, coordinate regularly scheduled communications across teams, and assist with printing and submission of proposals exceeding 500 pages in length
- Process Management and Improvement– Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for project management
- Team Building– Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team
This position can work remotely with teams in Kalamazoo, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. 10% travel is required.
