We are expanding and seeking a qualified team member for our Northern California and Southern Oregon labs. You will be working with our senior scientist, and possibly heading the new lab in Northern California. The candidate for this role should be well-versed in a broad range of analytical testing techniques such as, LC-MS/MS, GC MS/MS, HPLC, GC headspace, ICP/MS
Part time and consulting considered for qualified candidates.
- Analysis of samples using HPLC, GC MS/MS, LC MS/MS, GC/MS headspace and ICP/MS
- Review raw analytical data to ensure instrumentation is operating within spec
- Troubleshooting instrumentation
- QA/QC method development
- Sample prep, sample handling, and reporting
- testing of cannabis for contaminants: solvents and pesticides
- THC potency by HPLC
- Assist and direct lab technicians
- Assist senior scientist to establish methods for all aspects of cannabinoid testing
- Assist Lab Manager in optimization of chemical assays and general workflow improvements
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Working in Pharmaceutical, Toxicology, Food Safety, TNI/NELAC, GMP, or ISO accredited environment
- Familiarity with Cannabis and Cannabis products.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude
- Necessary experience to operate some or all instruments.
- Please state your experience. We use Sciex, Shimadzu, Varian, and Agilent instruments.
