Accounting Manager

Mammoth is the leading cannabis manufacturing, distribution, and branding company in California.

The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented team player, responsible for reviewing month-end closes and reconciliations, preparing and reviewing financial statements and other reporting, monitoring and managing tax compliance, and managing day-to-day accounting assignments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and managing general ledger and reconciliations
• Review of month-end and year-end close
• Establishing and monitoring internal controls
• Preparation and review of accounting reports
• Data entry, exporting and organizing
• Accounting and tax project management
• Performing budget vs. actual and other financial analyses
• Taking on additional responsibilities as needed

BACKGROUND, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Strong software skills including Excel and Quickbooks
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented
• Experience in tax filings and compliance (income, sales and use, business, etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution and managing multiple entities

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Head of Finance

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree (CPA is not required)

REWARDS: $80,000- $95,000 salary with opportunity to advance
