Accounting Clerk

RISE Logistics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have experience in the logistics or warehousing industries. In this role you will be working closely with the accounting team to process orders, manage receivables / payables and daily cash flow. This position is based in our Oakland, CA facility, and will be reporting to the Lead Accountant. This role will require you to wear many hats, and requires comfort with the legal cannabis market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing daily AR/AP
• Managing customer credits / refunds
• Daily management of journal entries in Quickbooks
• Supporting Payroll Processing

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Expert at Quickbooks
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience developing, documenting, and implementing systems and processes
• Self-starter, able to work independently as well as with teams
• Comfortable and excited to work in a fast-paced and quickly evolving startup environment

Required Experience

• 3 years in accounting / bookkeeping
• Bachelor Degree or Certified Accounting Training required

Compensation: $18-$22/hr

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 to $22.00 /hour
