Accounting and Human Resources Assistant

Who we are looking for:

We have an immediate opportunity for a part-time Accounting and Human Resources Assistant in our Westborough, Massachusetts office. This role has the potential to expand into a full-time position. The AHRA is primarily responsible for the implementation of Accounting and Human Resources related functions of the organization and reports to the Controller. The AHRA maintains an effective level of business acumen and provides the following services:

  • Payroll administration
  • Recruiting and staffing, benefits administration, HR training, employee relations, management of HR-related systems
  • Correspondence generation, record keeping, creating offer letters, file maintenance, HRIS entry, processing monthly billing from insurance providers, administration of State issued agent card
  • Policy development and implementation.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience with an HR or accounting background.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field of study
  • Experience administering employee benefits, including health and 401(k)
  • Experience with payroll systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and technological expertise
  • No felony convictions, must be able to pass DPH background check
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and experience working with senior-level executives
