Job Description:

Next Frontier Biosciences (NFB) is a Colorado-based biotech company using advanced scientific methods to develop best-in-class purified cannabinoid products. We launched our first suite of products under the brand, Verra WellnessTM , in November and are seeking an experienced sales person with extensive experience and relationships in the Colorado Cannabis market. If you enjoy operating in a startup environment (i.e. self-directed and motivated, strategic thinker, learn and adapt quickly) you will thrive in this position. There is potential for this position to develop into a management role.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new customer base, establish new accounts, obtain orders and build strong customer relationships
  • Use a customer-focused, consultative and needs-based sales process to educate accounts on what products will best fit their needs
  • Responsible for the seamless and timely experience for accounts ordering and receiving product
  • Work closely with Director of Sales and Marketing to create and adapt optimal sales strategy
  • Assist accounts to improve product promotion and ensure they maintain our brand integrity
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product offerings as well as competitors
  • Anticipate industry trends
  • Consult with marketing team to develop new sales material and refine messaging based on direct customer feedback
  • Maintain customer databases and ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Participate in on-site patient appreciation days, budtender education events, hosted company parties, networking mixers, and other events on a regular basis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years outside sales experience selling directly into CO Medical and Recreational Dispensaries is REQUIRED
  • Product launch experience in Cannabis or other relevant sales industry is preferred
  • Demonstrate achieving and exceeding sales quotas
  • Proven ability to build and execute a strategy for assigned territory that generates and develops new business
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills, high level of integrity, personal motivation and sense of urgency
  • Polished and professional appearance
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and educate others product-related information easily and in a professional manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work after-hours for educational business meetings, trade shows, events & presentations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have valid Colorado’s driver’s license and proof of car insurance
  • Must be able to pass 5 year background check in order to obtain a MED Key Badge
