Hemp Press, established in 2013, provides the Cannabis Industry with self supporting and sustainable hemp print, packaging, and promotional product services. We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Coordinate with the Design and Production Teams
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Utilize social media and other platforms to obtain new clientele
- Obtain pertinent information from new clients courteously and professionally
- Comfortable cold calling and securing sales from business accounts
- Answer calls from prospective clients
- Utilize and manage the Leads App in Podio to track potential clients
- Draft and manage invoices in Shopify
- Capable of seeking out and participating in statewide networking events
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly territory analyses
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our services according to customer needs and objectives
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales goals
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Manage Crutch Card Affiliates, making sure they have the information they need, answering their questions, and tracking their sales
Requirements
- Passion for domestic hemp cultivation and sustainable manufacturing practices.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or another related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of Podio a distinct advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a small team.
- Strong priority management skills and comfort in ability to work in a high paced environment
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to think and act quickly
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Display the ability to communicate with others effectively, listen closely and convey points clearly
- Cannabis/Hemp Industry experience
Compensation
$15/hour plus commissions
Job Types: Full-time, Commission
