Job Description:

We are an I-502 cannabis processor currently looking for individuals who have a proven track record (3 job references required) in Account Management with a huge emphasis on building long lasting sustainable relationships with accounts in their assigned area. Candidates must be able to maintain relationships with their assigned accounts while reaching their monthly sales goals, as well as, establishing and maintaining new accounts in their assigned area.

But being the right Account Manager candidate for our company is not just about reaching sales goals. The right people must also possess the ability to recognize opportunities to work with retailers and our company on marketing projects: events that will educate the public, events that will educate those of us in the industry and be an active participant in anticipating or reporting new trends in the cannabis industry to your colleagues.

Below are specific bullet points regarding the position. As you will see, it is quite extensive and time consuming work which is why preference will go to qualified candidates living in these specific areas: Bellingham, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Vancouver (WA), Tacoma and Olympia.

More specific Account Manager responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Building relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Identifying industry trends.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.

Account Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, the hospitality/service industry, communications, or related field.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge.

*Note - Candidates without the required and preferred skills and qualificaions will be immediately eliminated.
Selected candidates will go through a probationary period of 90 days. Within the 90 days there will be a review after 30, 60 and 90 days to see if they are a good fit. Then there will be an established monthly review of accounts that will determine if candidate will stay with company.
