Account Executive - Media Sales

Humboldt.FM is a start-up, and the first-ever radio station for plants. Why? Because plants love music. In the cannabis, vegetable and flower growing industries, there are thousands of product manufacturers and services trying to get the attention of outdoor, greenhouse and indoor growers. We offer the ideal platform for reaching those growers because we have a captive audience of growers who play our station to optimize plant growth whenever the lights are on or the sun is up.

The Account Executive is responsible for generating media revenues that meet or exceed predetermined goals. You will service and secure mutually beneficial relationships with various businesses that have a desire to reach their target audience through various advertising channels and services. This is primarily a work-at-home position, including daily teleconferencing with key team members.

Responsibilites

• Develop and manage revenue producing relationships with clients and agencies
• Prospect for new business and build a full pipeline of sales prospects
• Analyze client marketing goals and develop needs based solutions to achieve them
• Oversee campaign execution and analysis
• Provide consultation to managers, sales teams and clients
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to drive revenue

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales success in media sales
• BA/BS degree with a minimum of three years of media sales
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Hard-working, integrity, relationship-builder with a winning attitude
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Work with brand teams, ad operations and finance to provide client satisfaction
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
• Some travel necessary, but mostly home-based
• Valid driver's license with good driving record required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $36,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year
