JOB PURPOSE

An Account Executive is responsible for managing the relationships with our current and potential suppliers. This position is focused on initiating new relationships between Cura and clients as well as maintaining Cura’s existing relationships. The majority of the account executive’s time will be spent on the phone. Account Executives will also be responsible for recording information from calls and appointments into our Salesforce lead management system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Cura’s brand and vendors in a professional and educated manner
  • Research market to generate new leads
  • Qualify and follow up on new leads
  • Collaborate with supply chain team to ensure growth attainment
  • Schedule daily appointments with new and existing customers
  • Consistently increase product knowledge through research
  • Ensure the timely and successful pickup of clients’ products according to supply chain needs and methods
  • Remain current on the cannabis industry, compliance and market trends.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to company stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update all account prospects and customers in CRM.
  • May have specific responsibilities or tasks other than those above when required by supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prefer 2+ years full time work experience
  • Must love a fast-paced environment, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Knowledge of cannabis products, recreational and medicinal, and the industry, preferred
  • People skills with an outgoing personality
  • Effective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, or other similar CRM/Lead management system preferred
  • Ambition, curiosity and a passion for learning
  • Strong communication, writing skills and analytic thinking.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.

COMPENSATION

  • Compensation depends on experience.

Full time Cura employees are eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision benefits on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.
