International, independent, full-service investment bank seeks dynamic, entrepreneurial candidates to join their new Cannabis Team in their San Francisco office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Serve as a key resource working closely with senior investment bankers to proactively generate ideas and solutions to meet client needs
- Key support resource to senior investment bankers in day-to-day client coverage with some primary client coverage responsibility
- Function as the key point of contact for the group, responsible for coordinating information flow and execution of work product
- Lead due diligence sessions for pending projects and prospective clients
- Supervise the preparation and execution of final client presentation work product
- Communicate and interact with deal team members and clients
Qualified candidates should have:
- Experience as an investment banking Senior Associate or at least 1 year as a VP
- Experience with the healthcare, life sciences or technology sectors a plus
- Strong analytical/financial skills as well as outstanding verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking
- Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and as a team player
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $135,000.00 to $160,000.00 /year
Experience:
- investment banking: 3 years (Preferred)
- healthcare, life sciences or technology: 1 year (Preferred)
