Job Description:
New Leaf Publishing is thrilled to add two Web Content Associates to our growing team! The ideal candidate will bring experience working in WordPress CMS to a fast-paced creative editorial environment, be responsible for uploading content to the Website, and be able to deliver quality work on deadline in a remote environment.
Founded as a local magazine covering the Washington State medical Cannabis community in 2010, New Leaf Publishing has grown into a multifaceted media company with a national reach, giving voice to the growing Cannabis industry with six magazines, a robust website, multiple podcasts, and a strong social media ecosystem.
- Layout features, articles, and product reviews via our customized WordPress CMS
- Upload podcast episodes
- Ensure content meets our SEO guidelines and styling requirements
- Update the leafmagazines.com homepage
- Provide feedback to the development team to implement new features and improve workflow
Reports to Web Manager, and will work closely with Chief Technical Officer and other key Web Team members to ensure the successful completion of company objectives.
- Extensive experience in the WordPress CMS
- Basic HTML knowledge preferred
- Proven understanding of digital media
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to make logical layout decisions
- Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks
- Experience with Google Sheets and Google Drive
- Experience with project management software (similar to Trello and Asana) and Kanban workflow principles.
- Ability to deliver quality output in a remote work environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
