Maintains a personnel structure and staffing level to accomplish all warehouse functions in an effective and efficient manner. Interviews and recommends applicants for hire as warehouse associates and supervisors.

Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of warehouse associates and supervisors; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; counsels, records and disciplines as necessary. Develops crew leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew members.

Monitors and measures warehouse performance for accuracy of inventory, shipping & receiving, cutting and picking of material.

Creates a safe and efficient operation of the warehouse

Ensures equipment required for warehouse operations is properly maintained

Ensures adequate supplies are maintained for warehouse order fulfillment operations

Fills in for other warehouse positions as needed

Maintains responsibility for physical plant, including cleanliness and security

Plan and manage order priority to maximize on-time delivery performance

Log performance KPI’s as well as safety and ISO documentation

Competently control warehouse operations, understanding packaging requirements and manage reporting of warehouse activities

Requires a minimum five years of
Job Requirements:
Production/Warehouse experience with a thorough understanding of goods retrieval in a warehouse environment

Strong verbal and written skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail oriented and ability to multi-task

Innovative, proactive, and self-directed with an ability to lead others

Able to work in a team environment and fulfilling objectives with minimum direct supervision

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations

Forklift Certification or the ability to obtain certification

Experience with Oracle is a plus
