Interviews and recommends applicants for hire as warehouse associates and supervisors. - Plans and coordinates work, trains and motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of warehouse associates and supervisors; ensures their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations; counsels, records and disciplines as necessary. Develops crew leaders to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned crew members. - Monitors and measures warehouse performance for accuracy of inventory, shipping & receiving, cutting and picking of material. - Creates a safe and efficient operation of the warehouse - Ensures equipment required for warehouse operations is properly maintained - Ensures adequate supplies are maintained for warehouse order fulfillment operations - Fills in for other warehouse positions as needed - Maintains responsibility for physical plant, including cleanliness and security - Plan and manage order priority to maximize on-time delivery performance - Log performance KPI’s as well as safety and ISO documentation - Competently control warehouse operations, understanding packaging requirements and manage reporting of warehouse activities - Requires a minimum five years of
