Job Description:
Kaycha Labs is a leading provider of innovative Cannabis and Hemp testing technologies and methods. We perform product testing to help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. We provide comprehensive cannabis testing for potency, homogeneity, heavy metals, microbial contamination, mycotoxins, residual solvents, terpenes, and pesticides.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
- Drive business results and strategic initiatives through operational rigor, collaboration, and cross leadership alignment.
- Oversee all aspects of operational execution including new services/new location development and national expansion.
- Lead projects from strategic planning, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations till deployment of implementation plans and report status to company President.
- Keep meticulous track of all ongoing projects and prioritize for labs as necessary in order to meet broader company objectives.
- Partner with the leadership team to ensure optimal operations and world class service to our customers.
- Establish, track and report KPI’s to senior leadership.
- Integration of newly acquired business into Kaycha Labs operational flow
- Administer coaching, training & development of lab directors employees across facilities to elevate insights and expertise.
- Consistently support development, implementation & optimal use of LIMS at all levels of the laboratory to improve productivity & profitability
- Ensure that all personnel have the appropriate education, experience and training. Identify needs for continuing education or remedial training if needed.
- Ensure that an approved procedure manual is available to all personnel

Education & Experience:
- Minimum BS/BA in Business or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years’ progressive experience throughout technical, operational and full P&L management positions in the cannabis industry.
- Experience overseeing multiple facilities/state markets in cannabis manufacturing/cultivation operations is a must.
- Experience implementing project management and planning tools (Asana) while overseeing a complex pipeline
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
