Job Description:

- Training Managers are people-oriented leaders who have a passion for aiding in the performance of front-staff employees - Reporting to the Senior Manager of Training & Development, this critical role helps ensure all new hires (budtenders/receptionists/trainers) have a smooth transition from orientation to the end of the training cycle - Develop core team members for ~1-2 high concept retail locations through high touch coaching and developmental follow up plans - Make engaging and powerful presentations and/or provide turnkey materials from HQ and lead large group discussions for key constituents - Conduct assessments and evaluations of team members and quantify training outcomes - Ensure that team members actively pursue training activities that support key organizational growth objectives - Serve as a SME (subject matter expert) to team members for ongoing training and service support - Conduct performance reviews as needed - Review and assess current training approaches to help identify areas for development - Strategic planning with senior management to improve and maintain current training and development programs - Empower employees to feel ownership over their career and personal growth through impactful programming and delivery of self-serve resources - Be a critical player in building a healthy culture of community and support - Must act as a coach, excellent at developing others, able to build trust, gain credibility, and empower a team to deliver the best work of their lives - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills sufficient to speak and write to persons of various social, cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds to optimize working relationships and leverage EQ (emotional intelligence) to resolve problems

Job Requirements:

- Solid project management acumen, able to assess needs, set a vision, prioritize appropriately, present creative solutions, develop action plans, execute and measure results - The resilient leader with the humility and self-awareness to work effectively and with others in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment who will display patience and a positive attitude - Cannabis knowledge is preferred but not required - High school diploma or GED - At least one year of experience directly related to the core responsibilities of the role - Advanced education from an accredited institution that is above the minimum requirements may in some cases be substituted for practical experience - One year in a retail-centric or licensed dispensary environment - $20/hr - Competitive health care benefit program - Coaching and support for personal development - Opportunities for career growth as we are in high growth mode - Working with a team with high energy and good vibes
