Job Description:
The Track and Trace Tech job position will provide support to management in the manufacturing operations to ensure technical compliance with Track-and-Trace protocol as governed by the California Department of Food & Agriculture, California Bureau of Cannabis Control, the California Department of Public Health and any other applicable regulatory agency.

Oversee technical compliance with Track-and-Trace protocol as governed by the California Department of Food & Agriculture, California Bureau of Cannabis Control, the California Department of Public Health and any other applicable regulatory agency

Assist Manufacturing operations to ensure proper and effective use and/or data entry to the Track-and-Trace system

Provide regular support to the manufacturing operations to ensure deliverables, constraints, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and adherence to regulatory requirements for tagging and tracking plants.
- Maintain upkeep of all materials related to the Track-and-Trace system, to include but not limited to regular inventory monitoring, fulfillment processing, etc.
- Perform regular risk assessments, internal reviews and/or audits and provide periodic reports

Primarily in an office and field environment. Will be expected to travel regularly to various farm locations. The Company is unable to control the work environment while an employee is conducting business outside of Company premises. This may cause for an employee to be subject to fluctuating noise, temperature or other environmental factors outside the control of the Company.
Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.

3+ years of verifiable work experience in the cannabis industry, or related role

Associate Degree (or higher) in business-related discipline

Intermediate knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office systems (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and other MS Tools) and Google Sheets

Proficiency of the English language, verbal and written format

Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver License, and meet requirements for insurability under the Company’s policy

Must be 21 years of age (or older) at the time of hire

Knowledge of agriculture, cultivation, farming operations

Regulatory, land use or compliance experience helpful
