Job Description:
Bento Delivery is looking for a Supervisor (AM), Inventory Management to join our team. The Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the AM inventory team and ensure all duties and functions are conducted efficiently and accurately.
Our ideal candidate will exemplify a firm grasp of all inventory management best practices, maintain a strong work ethic, lead by example, and have excellent communication skills. The Supervisor must always be committed to working safely and in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. The Supervisor must understand and work in compliance with state and city rules and regulations.
Essential Functions:

Effectively utilize different software systems to monitor inventory levels, and team performance.

Oversee the daily operations of inventory team.

Audit internal documents.

Write and update standard operating procedures.

Train new and existing staff members.

Recruit and interview new staff members
-
Review metric data and conduct performance reviews.

Maintain PM team’s time and attendance, including breaks.

Input quantities for physical inventory audits (cycle counts).

Assist the manager with ongoing projects.

Conduct team meetings.
-
Coordinate with respective departments to optimize workflows.

Work nights and weekends.
-

Qualification Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
At least 21 years of age.

Valid California Driver's License.

Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

Flexible schedule. Ability to work nights and weekends to cover any open shifts as necessary.

Ability to pass all required reference and background checks required by the company and mandated by the State of California and the City of Redwood City for cannabis industry employees.

Good working knowledge of cannabis industry safety practices and compliance rules and regulations.
Preferred Education and Experience:

Knowledge and experience as a supervisor or other management position in the cannabis industry.

Bachelor's Degree in Inventory Management or related area.
Physical Requirement and Work Conditions:

Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
-
Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and stand repeatedly.

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
