Job Description:
We are currently seeking an exceptional 2nd year law student for a paid 10-12 week summer internship in 2021. This is the ideal opportunity for someone looking for hands-on experience. Our firm handles many types of litigation matters, corporate and business law, estate planning, employment law, real estates, land use, and family law. We advise many large international agricultural corporations as well as lead small businesses through new and emerging legal issues, including the highly regulated area of Cannabis Law.
On the job, you will be working on legal research, participating in client interviews, drafting discovery and legal memorandum, and possibly assisting attorneys in court. We encourage and can assist in obtaining Rule 9 certification. Our internship program is a combination of mentoring, learning activities, and project work designed to give broad exposure to the inner workings of a mid-size law firm. The ideal candidate will be a 1-L or 2-L law student with a strong appetite for learning, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent writing skills, is a self-starter and is able to work independently.
