Job Description:
Part-time (15-20 hours per week) position available for Staff Accountant.
Absolute Numbers is an accounting management firm that started in 2002, specializing in full-charge bookkeeping, controller services, and QuickBooks cleanup for small businesses located in the San Francisco Bay Area. We have experienced slow and steady growth (even through 2020) and expect that to accelerate over the coming years.
We currently have a team of 8 working (mostly) remotely and there will be opportunity for growth in this position. Relationships are the cornerstone of our business, and we have the benefit of working with clients we like that stay with us long-term (some have been with us since we started!). These businesses include craft breweries, coffee roasters, cannabis companies, restaurants/bars, and many other industries covering retail, consulting/service firms, and online stores.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years using QuickBooks Online
- Minimum 3 years with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Proficiency with Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Fantastic communication and writing skills

- Creative and resourceful problem-solver
- Positive attitude and grace under pressure

- Excellent at managing deadlines
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related
- Experience using bill.com for accounts payable
