The Staff Accountant will be invaluable in creating and improving the financial infrastructure of dutchie. This individual will be the initial point of contact on all matters related to areas such as prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payable, and month-end close activities. You will build reports leveraging internal systems, analyze financial statements, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger reconciliations. - Apply customer payments within Accounts Receivable and work collaboratively across departments to continuously improve collections processes for efficiency, scalability and customer experience

Job Requirements:
expense reports in accordance with the business travel and expense policies
- Assist with year-end audit process including various schedule preparation and participation with Big 4 accounting firm
- Participate in month-end close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for completeness and accuracy. Perform flux analyses on financial statements and other financial data
- Be a key business partner internally and work with various departments to implement processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-2 years experience in related position or field
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of US GAAP
- Flexible and adaptable to meeting the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast-paced organization by taking ownership of assigned projects and responsibilities
