Southwest Washington State Account Rep
Top cannabis company seeks regional sales representative—
Applicants should have a great general background, understanding of, and passion for, cannabis and sales. Successful candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a vibrant outgoing personality, great work ethic and be a highly organized and motivated self-starter. Accurate computer data entry and CRM essential. Company will train on products, systems, expectations and software. Compensation to include base salary plus commission.
Duties to include:
- Manage and maintain Southwesst Washington retail partner accounts (apprx 75)
- Work to increase overall sales in region and with each individual retail partner
- Establish new retail partnerships within territory
- Provide order assistance and customer service (may include evenings and weekends)
- Visit retail locations on a regular cadence to interact, observe and provide promotional and educational collateral support
- Work with sales team management to set monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Report regional and individual store sales on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Regularly communicate with buyers at every retail partner location
- Work with the retail partners to maximize overall sell through rates
- Manage inventory and orders for retail partners
- Track number of product categories being carried by each partner and work to maximize total number of SKUs on shelves
- Monitor instore inventory levels to ensure partners stay thoroughly stocked
- Work with retail partners to identify and clear out aging/expired inventory
- Work with retail partners to optimize shelf space and product placement
- Report pricing and trend information to sales management
- Regularly update and enter
Job Requirements:
data into customer retention management program/update and maintain region’s database
- Work closely with fulfillment manager to optimize warehouse throughput and streamline deliveries
- Deliver product samples to prospective and existing retail partners
- Back up brand ambassador with instore promotional events inside territory (up to once a week-pending WA State Covid 19 recommendations/restrictions)
- Conduct regular product education presentations for bud tenders and purchasing managers
- Initiate periodic social meetings with key retail purchasers and managers
- Perform occasional deliveries to retail locations to interact and make observations
- Must be comfortable driving long distances in suboptimal weather
- Must have reliable transportation, clean driving record and valid driver’s license/insurance
- Residence in or near Tacoma to Vancouver, Washington a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
