Job Description:
The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will plan and execute social media campaigns and provide copywriting support for Eris Creative and our partner firms. The ideal candidate must remain flexible to account for the ever-changing priorities and business needs of our companies
We split our time between our office near downtown and client locations in SE Portland, Troutdale, and Damascus. Compensation is dependent on experience, with additional benefits unlocked after 90 days. The ideal candidate would observe a standard schedule, splitting time between work-from-home and our offices before transitioning to a full-time, collaborative office environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong writing skills
- Social media publishing experience (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, HootSuite, etc.)
- Eagerness to build relationships and pitch stories to publications over phone and email
- Familiarity with a CMS like WordPress
- Previous marketing, PR or advertising agency experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Basic HTML and CSS knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of search engine marketing, search engine optimization desired
- Experience with Facebook Ads Manager desired
- Previous experience with companies in the construction, architecture or cannabis industries a plus
- Willingness to occasionally tackle tasks well outside your job description
- Must possess a growth mindset, high character and positivity
